The other works in the exhibition also include an ship bell. This work can quickly locate the pilotrsquo;s watch prototype, demonstrating Helwigrsquo;s ambitions in developing high-precision timepieces. Helwig has abundant knowledge and experience, whhich could affect the whole Europe, and he has about 40 papers and books published in his life. Helwig published a paper titled quot;Rotating Frame Clocksquot; indicates that flying tourbillon watchrsquo;s birth in 1927. It can be considered as the first-class achievement, even today it can be called up to its name. The paper with 98 pages and 56 illustrations introduces the specific structure of tourbillon watches. Helwigrsquo;s publications are still important reference information for watch designer and amateur watch makers, especially the books quot;Feinstellung der Uhrenquot; and quot;Die Lehre an der Deutschen Uhrmacherschulequot;. Despite a series of remarkable achievements, Alfred Helwig has always been humble in life.
To commemorate the great watchmakers, Glashuuml;tte Original launched a limited edition of flying tourbillon watch. Under Helwigrsquo;s name, the Glashuuml;tte brand watchmaking schools make him the highest standards of their students.
